NexusPark – Terms and Conditions

Last Updated: 19th October 2026

These terms and conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our parking permit creation service (the “Service” or “NexusPark”), whether accessed via our web app (including by tapping an NFC tag or scanning a QR code) or via a console at a Site (as defined below).

By using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, then you may not use or access the Service.

  • SECTION 23 (“OUR RESPONSIBILITY FOR LOSS OR DAMAGE SUFFERED BY YOU”): which details the circumstances in which we are not liable for any loss or liability you suffer.

ANNEX: PRE-CONTRACT INFORMATION

  1. WHO WE ARE

We are CP Plus Limited, trading as “GroupNexus” (“GroupNexus”, “we”, “us” or “our”), a company registered in England and Wales with company number 02595379 and VAT number 589785353. Our registered office is at Jack Straw’s Castle, 12 North End Way, London, England, NW3 7ES. We are registered with the British Parking Association (“BPA”) and comply with its Code of Practice. You can contact us at help@groupnexus.co.uk We operate the Service.

2. DESCRIPTION OF THE SERVICE

The Service allows you to create a digital parking permit (“Permit”) for your vehicle at a car park operated by us or another member of the GroupNexus group (“Site”). In these Terms, whichever entity operates the relevant Site is referred to as the “Site Operator”.

A Permit is a digital record, linked to your vehicle registration mark (“VRM”), showing that your vehicle is covered for parking at a Site for the parking period shown on the Permit. A Permit is provisional until verified (see Section 6). Section 8 explains how the Site Operator will treat a valid Permit.

These Terms apply only to your use of the Service. Your use of the Site itself is governed by a separate contract between you and the Site Operator (see Section 8).

You can access the Service by tapping an NFC tag or scanning a QR code displayed at the Site, which opens a web app on your device, or by using an on-Site console.

The Service provides a tool to generate and pay for parking Permits based on the information you provide. It does not guarantee that a parking space will be available to you at any Site.

We may check the VRM and other details you submit against our own ANPR and car park records to protect the Service from misuse.

3. CREATING YOUR PERMIT

You can create a Permit as a one-off transaction. There is no need to register an account or hold a subscription in order to use the Service.

Permit types

Each Permit has:

(a) A validity type, which determines the parking period it covers; and

(b) A price type, which determines whether and how much you pay.

Validity types

(a) A duration-based Permit, which will run from the time our ANPR cameras recorded your vehicle entering the Site or, if no such record exists, from an approximate entry time that you provide; and

(b) A fixed-validity Permit, which will run for a fixed period (for example, from 00:00 to 23:59 on the day) regardless of your actual time of entry.

Price types

(a) “Standard Paid Permits”, which are charged at the parking tariff displayed on Site signage for the relevant parking period, as shown to you before you confirm your Permit; and

(b) “Concessionary Permits”, which may be free of charge or offered at a discounted rate based on your eligibility, such as being a customer of a specific retailer or store on Site, or an authorised contractor on Site.

Steps to create a Permit

To obtain a Permit, you must complete the digital process by tapping a designated NFC tag, scanning a designated QR code or entering details into an on-Site console.

You will be asked to enter your VRM. If the automatic number plate recognition (“ANPR”) cameras have already recorded a matching VRM entering the Site, the Service will suggest an auto-complete of your full VRM to help you create an accurate Permit.

Where we hold, or are able to obtain, the make, model and colour of your vehicle from a vehicle data provider, we will display these details to you so that you can check that you have entered your VRM correctly. Further details of how these providers are used are set out in our Privacy Policy.

Where prompted by the Service, you must then provide an email address, to which we will send your Permit confirmation and (for paid duration-based Permits only) a link to extend your Permit. You may optionally also provide a mobile number, to which we will send an SMS reminder and (for paid duration-based Permits only) an extension link.

You must read and accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy before a Permit can be created.

What happens if you cannot create a Permit via the Service?

If you are unable to create a Permit using the Service for any reason (including because the Service is unavailable, or because of network issues, device failure or system maintenance), this does not entitle you to park without a valid Permit or any other authorisation required under the Parking Contract (as defined in Section 8).

As an alternative, before leaving the Site, you must:

  • For Standard Paid Permits: Use any alternative payment methods indicated on Site signage.
  • For Concessionary Permits: Either:

(a) Ask the relevant retailer or on-Site staff to log your stay and follow any instructions they give you; OR

(b) Use any alternative payment methods indicated on Site signage, retaining both your proof of eligibility (e.g. store receipt or contractor authorisation) and your parking payment receipt. You may then request a refund of the difference using the details in Section 15.

If you do not create a valid Permit or follow one of the alternative procedures above, you will not be entitled to any concession or refund under these Terms, and you may receive a parking charge from the Site Operator under the Parking Contract (see Section 8).

4. PAYING FOR YOUR PERMIT

Permit price: Where a Permit requires payment, the price will be clearly displayed on screen before you confirm your purchase. We may adjust the pricing of our Permits from time to time. Any price change will only apply to Permits created after the change takes effect and will not affect a Permit you have already paid for.

One-off purchase: Each Permit is a one-off purchase for the duration or validity period you select. There is no subscription, trial or recurring payment associated with the Service. You pay the price for the whole period you select (for example, “up to 1 hour”, “up to 2 hours” or “for the rest of the day”), whether or not you use all of it. If you leave the Site before the end of that period, you will not receive a refund for the unused time, other than as set out in ‘Your right to cancel’ below. Your Permit period ends at the end time shown on your Permit.

How payment works: If your chosen Permit requires payment, you will be directed to a secure, Stripe-hosted payment page to complete your transaction. Stripe will process, bill and manage all payments for paid Permits. We do not collect or store your card details. Once payment is confirmed, you will be redirected to a confirmation screen, from which you can download your Permit as a PDF. We will also send you a confirmation email, and an SMS if you provided a mobile number.

Your Permit starts immediately: By confirming the purchase of a paid Permit, you expressly request that the Permit starts immediately (and for duration-based Permits, that it covers the period from your entry time). You acknowledge that you will lose your statutory 14-day cooling-off right under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 once the Permit period ends. Please see the Annex to these Terms for further information.

Your right to cancel: Where you buy a Permit using the web app (including by tapping an NFC tag or scanning a QR code), you have a legal right to cancel your Permit within 14 days of buying it. Because you have asked for your Permit to start immediately:

(a) If you cancel before your Permit period ends: Your Permit will stop being valid from the time you tell us you are cancelling, and we will refund the price you paid less a proportionate amount, calculated by reference to the part of the Permit period that has elapsed up to that time. If your vehicle remains at the Site after you cancel, it will no longer be covered by that Permit. You will need to create a new Permit or use any alternative payment method indicated on Site signage, otherwise you may receive a parking charge from the Site Operator under the Parking Contract (see Section 8); and

(b) Once your Permit period has ended: Your Permit has been fully provided, and you no longer have a right to cancel.

To cancel, please contact us using the details in Section 15, giving your VRM and Permit details. We will make any refund due within 14 days of the day you tell us you are cancelling, using the payment method you used to buy the Permit.

Non-refundable: Apart from your right to cancel as mentioned above, the price of a Permit is non-refundable unless the law requires otherwise or we are at fault (for example, because of a technical error or a duplicate charge). If you believe you have been charged in error or have experienced a technical problem, please contact us using the details in Section 15.

5. ACCESSING THE SERVICE AND PERMIT TIMINGS

You can access the Service by tapping an NFC tag at a Site or scanning a QR code displayed on Site signage or using an on-Site console.

You must not share the URL associated with any NFC tag or QR code, allow it to be used by any other person or use an on-Site console to register or validate any vehicle on behalf of a person who is not authorised to park at a Site.

Where our ANPR cameras have recorded your vehicle entering the Site, this entry time will ordinarily be used as the start time for a duration-based Permit. If no such record exists (for example, because of a camera misread), you will be asked to provide an approximate entry time, which you must ensure is accurate.

You acknowledge that it is your sole responsibility to ensure that the entry time and all other information you provide is accurate. Please see Section 23 (“OUR RESPONSIBILITY FOR LOSS OR DAMAGE SUFFERED BY YOU”) for our full limitation of liability provisions.

6. PROVISIONAL PERMITS, VERIFICATION AND ACCURACY OF INFORMATION

Provisional Permits: Once you have entered the necessary details on screen (and, for paid Permits, completed payment), a Permit may be generated automatically. Any such Permit is strictly provisional and conditional upon successful verification against our ANPR and car park records. The generation of a Permit via the Service does not guarantee its acceptance by us.

Verification and right to withdraw, cancel or suspend Permits: The information you provide is subject to verification against ANPR and other data held by us in respect of the Site. If a mismatch or inaccuracy is identified, we reserve the right to withdraw, cancel or suspend the Permit without notice and without liability to you.

Responsibility for accurate data and Permit status: You are solely responsible for ensuring that all information you input into the Service, including your VRM, is accurate, truthful and up to date. We will display the make, model and colour of your vehicle (where available) for you to check before you proceed, and it is your responsibility to correct any errors before completing your Permit. It is also your responsibility for ensuring your Permit remains active.

Request for evidence: We reserve the right to request evidence at any time to verify your VRM, your payment, or your entitlement to use a Permit, including in the event of a dispute or suspected misuse.

7. EXTENDING YOUR PERMIT

For paid duration-based Permits, you can extend your Permit before it expires. Free Permits cannot be extended.

The easiest way to do this is to access the deep link included in your confirmation email or SMS, which will open the web app, or by returning to an on-Site console, where you can view your Permit details and select an option to extend the end time.

Payment for any additional duration will be processed via the same Stripe-hosted payment page described in Section 4 (“PAYING FOR YOUR PERMIT”).

If you access the Service and enter a VRM while a Permit for that vehicle is still live, you will be shown a message telling you that the vehicle has an active Permit, and for paid Permits, directing you to extend it (via the email or SMS link, or on-screen on the on-Site console).

If you access the Service after your Permit has expired, you will be able to create a new Permit. Where you do so, the new Permit will run from the same time that your previous Permit expired.

Only one live Permit may exist for a vehicle at a Site at any given time.

8. YOUR USE OF THE SITE IS GOVERNED BY A SEPARATE CONTRACT

These Terms apply only to your use of the Service. Your entry to and parking at a Site are governed by the terms displayed on Site signage, which form a separate contract between you and the Site Operator (the “Parking Contract”).

These Terms do not form part of, and do not change, the Parking Contract. This is the case even where we are the Site Operator.

A valid Permit will be recognised by the Site Operator as covering your vehicle for the parking period shown on it.

However, a Permit does not entitle you to park in breach of any other requirement of the Parking Contract (for example, restrictions on where or how you may park, maximum stay limits or conditions of entry). Please read the Site signage before using the Service, so that you understand the requirements that apply to your use of the Site.

9. YOU MAY NOT TRANSFER YOUR PERMIT TO SOMEONE ELSE.

We are giving you personally the right to use the Service as set out in these Terms.

A Permit is issued strictly in respect of a specific VRM and is not transferable to another vehicle.

You must not transfer, sell or otherwise make available your Permit, or the link used to access or extend it, to someone else, whether for money, for anything else or for free.

10. MISUSE, FRAUD AND REVOCATION

Any attempt to use the Service to generate a Permit using a fraudulent, inaccurate or someone else’s VRM or vehicle details, or otherwise in contravention of these Terms, is a material breach of these Terms.

If we suspect misrepresentation, fraudulent activity or any other unauthorised use, we reserve the right to withdraw or cancel any active Permit without notice and, where appropriate, report the matter to the relevant authorities or law enforcement.

11. AGE REQUIREMENTS

There is no minimum age to use the Service to create a free Permit. However, because creating a paid Permit involves entering into a contract and making a payment, you must be at least 18 years old to do so unless you have the consent of a parent or guardian to do so.

If we discover or have reasonable grounds to suspect that a paid Permit has been created by someone under 18 without the required consent, we reserve the right to cancel that Permit.

12. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

Unless you are accessing the Service via an on-Site console, you must have a compatible device with a functioning camera or NFC capability, a compatible web browser, and an active internet connection, to access the Service. It is your sole responsibility to ensure that your device meets these requirements.

13. HOW YOU MAY USE THE SERVICE

In return for your agreement to comply with these Terms, you may access and use the Service for your personal, non-commercial use, to create, manage, and where applicable, pay for parking Permits.

14. YOUR PRIVACY

Under data protection legislation, we are required to provide you with certain information including who we are, how we process your personal data and for what purposes, and your rights in relation to your personal data and how to exercise them. This information is provided in our Privacy Policy, and it is important that you read it.

15. SUPPORT FOR THE SERVICE AND HOW TO TELL US ABOUT PROBLEMS

  • Support. If you want to learn more about the Service or have any problems using them, please refer to www.groupnexus.co.uk or contact us using the details below.
  • Contacting us (including complaints). If you think the Service is faulty or misdescribed, or wish to contact us for any other reason, please email us at help@groupnexus.co.uk or call us at 020 7431 4001.

16. HOW WE WILL COMMUNICATE WITH YOU

If we need to contact you for administrative or Permit-related reasons, we will do so by email using the email address you provided when creating your Permit.

Where you have provided a mobile number, we may also send you SMS messages for routine updates, such as Permit reminders and extension links.

17. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may need to change these Terms to reflect changes in law or best practice or to deal with additional features which we introduce.

We will publish the updated Terms via the Service and, if the changes are material, we will also take reasonable steps to bring them to your attention (for example, by requiring you to re-accept the Terms before creating your next Permit). If you do not accept the updated Terms, you will not be permitted to continue using the Service.

Your explicit acceptance of the updated Terms, or your continued use of the Service following the publication or notification of updated Terms, will constitute your full acceptance of those changes.

18. UPDATES TO THE SERVICE

From time to time, we may update or change the Service to improve performance, enhance functionality, or address security issues. We do not guarantee that the Service will always be compatible with every browser or device, or that on-Site consoles will be continuously available without interruption.

19. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR OTHER WEBSITES YOU LINK TO.

The Service may contain links to other independent websites which are not provided by us, including the Stripe-hosted payment page used to complete a paid Permit. Such independent sites are not under our control, and we are not responsible for and have not checked and approved their content or their privacy policies (if any).

You will need to make your own independent judgement about whether to use any such independent sites, including whether to buy any products or services offered by them.

20. ACCEPTABLE USE AND RESTRICTIONS

When using the Service, you agree that you will NOT:

  • provide false information: Knowingly provide false details to create a Permit or access the Service;
  • use unauthorised VRMs: Attempt to create a Permit using a VRM for a vehicle you are not authorised to park or make a Permit application for;
  • share access links: Share, publish, or distribute access links, URLs, QR codes, or NFC tag data to anyone who is not authorised or otherwise entitled to use the Service for the Site;
  • act unlawfully: Use the Service in any unlawful manner or for any unlawful purpose;
  • breach the Terms: Act inconsistently with these Terms;
  • impair systems or security: Damage, disable, overburden, impair or compromise our systems or security, or interfere with other users, in any way;
  • circumvent fair use: Undermine, circumvent or breach these Terms or the intended fair use of the Service in any way;
  • infringe intellectual property: Infringe our intellectual property rights or those of any third party in relation to your use of the Service;
  • copy or alter the Service: Copy, adapt, alter or modify, any part of the Service, nor permit any part of it to be combined with, or become incorporated in, any other software or service;
  • reverse engineer: Disassemble, de-compile, reverse engineer or create derivative works based on any part of the Service;
  • tamper with physical access points: Tamper, damage, deface or attempt to circumvent any NFC tag, QR code, on-Site console or signage used to access the Service;
  • bypass security: Bypass, tamper with, or attempt to circumvent any security features, authentication measures or access controls built into the Service;
  • harvest data: Collect or harvest any information or data from the Service or our systems or attempt to decipher any transmissions to or from the servers running the Service;
  • act fraudulently or maliciously: For example, by hacking into or inserting malicious code (such as viruses) or harmful data into the Service or our systems, or knowingly provide false information when using the Service.

21. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

All intellectual property rights in the Service throughout the world belong to us (or our licensors) and the rights within the Service are licensed (not sold) to you.

You have no intellectual property rights in, or to, the Service, other than the right to use them in accordance with these Terms.

22. OUR WARRANTIES AND DISCLAIMERS

We will provide the Service to you using reasonable care and skill.

Apart from this, the Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

This means that except for your statutory rights as a UK consumer (which cannot be excluded), to the maximum extent permitted by applicable laws, we exclude all implied conditions, warranties, representations, or other terms that might otherwise apply to the Service.

Further, despite our use of standard security measures to protect the Service, we do not guarantee that it (including any on-Site console) will always be available, uninterrupted, timely, secure or completely free from bugs or viruses. Where you access the Service using your own device, you are responsible for your device’s virus protection and internet or mobile network connection.

23. OUR RESPONSIBILITY FOR LOSS OR DAMAGE SUFFERED BY YOU

  • If we make a mistake. If we fail to comply with these Terms or fail to use reasonable care and skill, we are responsible only for loss or damage you suffer that is an obvious result of our mistake, or something you and we both knew might happen when you accepted these Terms. We are not responsible for any unpredictable or unexpected loss or damage.
  • What the law does not allow us to limit or exclude. We do not exclude or limit in any way our liability to you where it would be unlawful to do so. This includes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or the negligence of our employees, agents or subcontractors, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, and for breach of your legal rights in relation to the Service, including the right to receive the Service supplied with reasonable care and skill.
  • Parking charges at the Site. Whether your vehicle is authorised to park at a Site is governed by the terms displayed on Site signage (see Section 8). If your vehicle does not have a valid Permit covering your stay, you may receive a parking charge from the Site Operator under that contract. We are not responsible for any such parking charge where it results from:

(a) inaccurate (including typographical error made when entering a VRM, subject to applicable industry codes of practice governing minor keying errors), fraudulent, or outdated information you provide;

(b) your Permit being withdrawn or suspended by us in accordance with these Terms, or cancelled by you;

(c) your failure to provide an accurate entry time where the ANPR system did not record your vehicle’s arrival at the Site; or

(d) your failure to follow our instructions or comply with these Terms (including Section 3).

However, if you receive a parking charge as a direct and obvious result of our mistake (for example, a technical failure within the Service, which results in your Permit details not being passed to the Site’s enforcement system, even though you validly created a Permit and made any required payment), please contact us using the details in Section 15 and we will arrange for the parking charge to be cancelled.

24. WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR BUSINESS LOSSES.

The Service is provided for standard parking permit management. We will have no liability to you for any commercial or business-related losses, including loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption, or loss of business opportunity.

25. LIMITATIONS TO THE SERVICE

The Service provide informational content alongside a digital tool to generate, and where applicable, pay for, Permits based on your input. They do not offer advice on which you should rely (for example, as to parking availability or restrictions at a Site). While we make reasonable efforts to update the information we provide on the Service, we make no representations, warranties or guarantees, whether express or implied, that such information is accurate, complete or up to date.

26. CHECK THAT THE SERVICE IS SUITABLE FOR YOU.

The Service has not been developed to meet your individual requirements. In particular, please check that the facilities and functions of the Service (as described at www.groupnexus.co.uk) meet your requirements.

27. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR EVENTS OUTSIDE OUR CONTROL.

If our provision of the Service or support for the Service is delayed by an event outside our control, then we will contact you as soon as possible to let you know and we will take steps to minimise the effect of the delay. Provided we do this, we will not be liable for delays caused by the event.

However, if there is a risk of substantial delay to a paid Permit you have not yet been able to use, you may contact us for a refund of the fee paid for that Permit, processed via Stripe.

28. WE MAY END YOUR RIGHTS TO USE THE SERVICE IF YOU BREAK THESE TERMS.

We may end your rights to use the Service at any time by contacting you if you have broken these Terms in a serious way. If what you have done can be put right, we will give you a reasonable opportunity to do so.

If we end your rights to use the Service:

  • You must immediately stop using or attempting to access the Service.
  • We may cancel any active, provisional, or future Permits issued to you or associated with your VRM without refund.
  • We may decline future Permit applications submitted using your VRM, email address or payment details.

29. WE MAY TRANSFER THIS AGREEMENT TO SOMEONE ELSE.

We may transfer our rights and obligations under these Terms to another organisation. We will inform you by posting a notice on the Service (or contacting you if you provided details) and ensure the transfer does not affect your rights under these Terms.

30. YOU NEED OUR CONSENT TO TRANSFER YOUR RIGHTS TO SOMEONE ELSE.

Your rights and Permits under these Terms are non-transferable. You may only transfer your rights or your obligations under these Terms to another person if we agree in writing.

31. NO RIGHTS FOR THIRD PARTIES

Unless expressly stated in these Terms, they do not give rise to any rights under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 to enforce any term.

32. IF A COURT FINDS PART OF THESE TERMS ILLEGAL, THE REST WILL CONTINUE IN FORCE.

Each section of these Terms operates separately. If any court or relevant authority decides that any of them are unlawful, the remaining sections will remain in full force and effect.

33. EVEN IF WE DELAY IN ENFORCING THESE TERMS, WE CAN STILL ENFORCE THEM LATER.

Even if we delay in enforcing these Terms or any part of them, we can still enforce them later. If we do not insist immediately that you do anything you are required to do under these Terms, or if we delay in taking steps against you in respect of your breaking of these Terms, that will not mean that you do not have to do those things and it will not prevent us taking steps against you at a later date.

34. ENTIRE AGREEMENT

Other than as stated in these Terms or as explicitly agreed upon in writing between you and us, these Terms, along with our Privacy Policy make up the entire agreement between you and us regarding your use of the Service. These Terms supersede any previous agreements, promises or discussions we have had with you, whether written or oral.

35. WHICH LAWS APPLY TO THESE TERMS AND WHERE YOU MAY BRING LEGAL PROCEEDINGS

These Terms are governed by English law, and you can bring legal proceedings in connection with your use of the Service in the English courts. If you live in Scotland, you can bring legal proceedings in respect of the same in either the Scottish or the English courts. If you live in Northern Ireland, you can bring legal proceedings in respect of the same in either the Northern Irish or the English courts.
